freecitizenshiptest.ca was created to help newcomers to Canada prepare for the Canadian citizenship test — completely free, with no sign-up required.

The Canadian citizenship test is one of the final steps in becoming a Canadian citizen. It covers Canadian history, values, institutions, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. The test draws entirely from the official government study guide, Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship.

Our goal is simple: give every future Canadian the best possible chance of passing their citizenship test on the first try, regardless of their background or resources.

This site is not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada. We are an independent educational resource.
